March 27th, we held the ribbon cutting ceremony for our new Monte Vista Community Library. Joining our administrators, Janice Forte’ & Rebecca Sanchez were the following; from Lancaster school District, Andrea Williams, and Tara Goines, LANCSD board members, Diane Grooms & Pamela Starlson, and from LACOE(Los Angeles County Office of Education) Mara Smith & Leslie Zoroya. Sponsored by the local Rotary Club, & illustrated by Perry Cooksey, this beautiful addition to our school will help make reading accessible to all our neighborhood children.
