1). For lunch today you will have your choice of teriyaki chicken and chowmein, flaquito, caesar salad with croutons, or yogurt parfaits. Yummers!

2). Our November Homeroom Competition this month will be Operation Gratitude. All donations collected will go to our military and first responders. Thank you in advance for helping those who help us every single day!

3). Science Club members: Our next meeting will be Thursday, November 21st from 3:15-4:00. Please bring fundraiser forms and money. Run announcement from now until Thursday, November 21st, please.

4). YEARBOOKS ARE NOW ON PRE-SALE FOR $25.00 THROUGH JANUARY 31ST.  PRICE GOES UP TO $30.00 ON FEBRUARY 1ST. PLEASE PAY IN ROOM 127.

5). Attention 8th Grade Lady Cougars who are ready to hoop it up? Today is your turn to try out for the basketball team, Good luck lady Cougars! Tomorrow November 15th will be girl's basketball makeups or callbacks. Tryout permission slips in the student information center, turned in to Mrs. Sloan in Room 132 as soon as possible.

6). CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 6TH AND 7TH GRADE LADY COUGAR BASKETBALL TEAM

7). Boys basketball tryouts will be next week. All those wanting to try out will need their permission packets to try out. No exceptions. Get your packet in the Student Information Center or from Mr. Harrop in Room 204.

8). Girls Inc. has grown! So, on Wednesday 7th and 8 grade will meet, and on Friday 6th grade will meet at lunchtime, room 109. Remember to show your membership card to your 4th-period teacher today and ask if okay to leave 5 minutes early to get your lunch. Our meeting starts promptly at 12:00. Please, don’t be late. Once we begin our meeting, tardy folk won’t be allowed in. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not accepting new members. We’ll open membership again in the second semester. 

9). 8th AVID and CJSF are doing a canned food all this week. Today, the AVID and CJSF students will be coming around to homerooms with the flyer and to tell your classes about the food drive.  The homeroom that collects the most canned food will win Krispy Kreme donuts.  

10). Our local food banks are in need of canned food to help feed families in need.  Please donate canned soup and/or canned foods with meat such as Ravioli, Span, Chili, and stew.  All food collected will be donated to Grace Resources and the SVC Food Pantry. The homeroom that donates the most canned foods will earn Krispy Kreme Donuts on Friday, Nov. 22nd.  The canned food drive will run from Wednesday, November 13th to Wednesday, November 20th. Sponsored by AVID and CJSF.  

11). November 18th through the 22nd will be our anti-bully Spirit week. (read the flyer)

12). All Cross Country team members please return your jerseys to Mrs. Romer in room 117, please. 

13). Cougar Reminder - Please be sure to keep warm during the winter months. Blankets and pajamas are not permitted to be worn on campus as clothing. Be sure to walk on the right-hand side of the hallway as you go to your classes.  Walk quickly and quietly and Keep your hands to yourself. Please respect your peers with positive language.
