Ethics Training Records Requests

Pursuant to California Government Code sections 53234 et seq., as amended by Senate Bill 827 (SB 827), the District maintains records documenting the completion of required ethics training by covered local agency officials. Beginning July 1, 2026, members of the public may request copies of ethics training completion records. 

How to Request Records

Requests may be submitted by:

Please include:
  • Your name and preferred contact information.
  • The name or position of the official whose ethics training record is being requested (if known).
  • A brief description of the records requested.
  • Any relevant dates or time period, if known.

The District will respond to requests in accordance with the California Public Records Act (Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.) and other applicable laws.
The District maintains ethics training records as required by California law.
