Linda Verde Information
On behalf of the California PBIS Coalition, we are pleased to recognize LINDA VERDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL for successful PBIS implementation at the Silver level.
Linda Verde Elementary Clubs & Activities
At Linda Verde Elementary School, we believe there’s a lot more to education than just what happens in the classroom. Students need the opportunity to apply their skills with extracurricular, hand-on activities like clubs and sports. We offer our students many opportunities to get involved outside the classroom, allowing them the chance to grow not just academically but physically and socially as well. Our families are also an integral part of our clubs/activities, as we work together to build a school community; that is supportive in ensuring all children have opportunities to grow and develop.
To learn more about joining a school club, please contact your child’s teacher or Mrs. Phinlang Camacho, our school Clubs/Activities liaison.

The main goal of our Environmental Council club is for students to help the environment through reusing, recycling, and reducing. Students will become leaders who will help educate members of the school and surrounding community on better practices to improve human health and the environment.
Our very own Linda Verde club will be leading the effort in prevention of childhood inactivity and obesity. Students run during the morning, and later in the Spring, will begin running in the afternoons. Students keep track of their progress, miles ran, and also, their overall well-being.

Boys club is based on the core belief that a climate of mutual respect and high expectations provides a foundation to increase learner involvement. As a school, we find these beliefs to be important both in and out of the classroom.
We will teach and model these values throughout the year as we begin our journey with our boys this year.
