Mondays are Superhero Shirt Days! Eagles can show spirit and embrace a growth mindset every Monday by wearing a shirt from their favorite Superhero. Our Eagles are super!
Tuesdays are College and Growth Mindset Shirt Days! Eagles can now support higher education and show kindness to others every Tuesday by wearing a shirt from their college of choice or a shirt that has a kind or positive message. Let's encourage our Eagles to soar all the time!
Circle of Friends happens every Tuesday. Students can make some friends and enjoy fun activities at the same time!
Circle of Friends (CoF) is a social inclusion program that builds genuine friendships between students with special needs and their general education peers. Students have lunch together and participate in several different activities every week.
Every Wednesday students have the chance to spin The Wheel for thirty Bird Bucks. The Wheel contains several prizes such as stuffed animals, school supply boxes, and homework and video game passes. The prizes change every week so you never know what you're going to win!
On Thursdays students can spend their hard earned Bird Bucks at the SOAR store. Students earn Bird Bucks by Staying safe, Owning their behaviors, Acting respectfully, and Rising to challenges. Right now students can buy items for as little as one Bird Buck or as much as one hundred Bird Bucks. Items include coloring books, crayons, gliders, hats, kites, art sets, and much much more!

Mike Sisson, our lead volunteer at El Dorado, has received the Golden Apple Award for his extraordinary service to our school. Volunteerism has flourished through the PREP Volunteer Program, due in no small part to Mike's efforts. This year, over 6,000 hours were graciously donated through this program. "Mr. Mike" is an inspiration to El Dorado, and we know this award is well deserved.
