• Principal's Message

Crossroads is dedicated to building bridges that promote academic, personal, and social growth in our students. We provide students with distinctive programs designed to develop pro-social skills, and promote self esteem and resiliency.

Crossroads Community Day School and Leadership Academy staff works closely with families, district schools, and the School Attendance Review Board to serve students who will benefit from an alternative setting.

We are consistently using research data to guide programs that will provide a challenging curriculum and equip each student with the tools they need to be successful in their academic and social pursuits.

Crossroads Community Day School and Leadership Academy expects all students to meet or exceed local and state standards. Crossroads offers small classes with a low student-teacher ratio. Students are supported through intensive behavioral support, truancy intervention, and tutoring. Each class has a full-time Para-educator. Crossroads has a full-time Counselor and Resource Specialist on-site. Crossroads also has a school Psychologist that provides support to students.

Students enroll in Crossroads Community Day from district schools in the following ways: Expulsion, SARB and Probation placement, and referrals from the Student Study Team (SST) that are approved through a panel screening process.

Parents can support students by checking their planners daily, assisting them with adhering to district and school expectations, checking PowerSchool, and keeping open communication with teachers an/or administration.

Crossroads offers each student an environment that is rich in learning, and experiences that allow them to explore ways they can transform their lives, and the lives of others.
