    Dear Amargosa Creek families,

I continue to be honored and excited to be a member of the Amargosa Creek Family.  As your principal, I look forward each day to strengthening the relationships that I have begun building with all of our wonderful students, supportive families, dedicated teachers, and talented staff.  While I have always eagerly anticipated the beginning of the school year, this August is particularly meaningful because it will mark the beginning of the fourth year that I will have the opportunity to partner with you on a journey to continue serving the children and families of the ACMS community.

As it has been in previous years, we continue our commitment to help all children develop their intellectual capacity, academic skills, and social competence.  Our goal is that students will be prepared to effectively negotiate the demands associated with living in an ever-changing 21st century.  Beyond the rigors of their academic program, it is our aim to instill within each student the essential principles of ROAR (Responsible, Organized, Accountable, Respectful) so that they will become productive and contributing members of our community.

High standards and expectations for each student with regard to academic performance, co-curricular participation, and responsible citizenship are the foundation of our school. It is with pride that we hold these high standards and ask each of our students to commit to maintaining the extraordinary record of achievement and contribution that has been the legacy of the Amargosa Creek Cougars. It is the contribution of our students to the school community that makes ACMS an exceptional learning community. Full participation in academic and co-curricular programs as well as a willingness to act responsibly as an individual within our educational environment is the factors that enable all to have a successful and enjoyable year.

I am also very excited about working with parents to help make a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow.  I encourage you to become a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  Volunteering and participating in classrooms and at various events throughout the school year benefits not only your child but all of the children of ACMS.  In an effort to keep you informed please visit our website for the most up-to-date information about our school and all things Cougar!

Please know that I am always available to discuss any questions or concerns related to serving you and the children of Amargosa Creek.

Everyone at ACMS is looking forward to a productive and rewarding 2023-2024 school year as we work with your child and family.

In conclusion, I wish you all a wonderful school year. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me and know that my door is always open. I am honored to serve as your principal.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Pulos
