• Endeavour Middle School

    Good evening, Endeavour families!

This is principal Nosik with your weekly Sunday message.

I have some announcements to share for this week:

         - State testing continues tomorrow, April 22nd with make-up testing for ELA. This is a very important assessment for our Ravens and will be used to determine class eligibility for the 24-25 school year, including our promoting 8th graders. Testing will occur in English Language Arts classes tomorrow. Please schedule appointments at a time so as not to interfere with testing.

              - April 22-26: ELA completion/make-ups

              - April 29-May 3: Math CAT and PT

              - May 6-10: Math completion/make-ups

              - May 13-17: Science CAST 8th Grade

              - May 20-24: Science completion/make-ups

              - May 27-31: Make-up testing with Mrs. Firth

         - Our family ambassadors will be hosting The Family Meal Challenge this Friday the 26th, 9:00am-10:00am in our community room. Please call the front office at 943-8270 or visit to sign up. This workshop is free of charge.

         - As the weather begins warming up, please be aware dress code provisions requiring shoes with a closed toe and closed backing (no slides or slippers). Also, tank tops are not allowed.

         - Track practices will be held Monday and Wednesday this week 3:00pm-4:00pm on the track. There will be a track meet Thursday, 2:30pm, at Gregg Anderson Academy, 5151 Ave N-8, Palmdale.

         - Registration for the 2024-2025 school year has begun. All returning students must be reregistered in School Mint. Parents will be updating contact information as well as health information. 8th grade parents will receive registration information from the Antelope Valley High School District via mail.

         - Please do not bring stuffed animals or sports equipment to school.

         - Students have been tempted to engage in water fights at school as the weather warms up. This is strictly prohibited as it is disruptive and can lead to fights. There will be serious consequences for  engaging in this activity.

         - If you are sick, please stay home. Wash your hands frequently and get plenty of rest!

         - 8th Grade and Promotion – Minimum requirements for participation in the promotion ceremonies and the dance are a C- or higher in citizenship in the 4th quarter and a GPA of at least 2.0 in the 2nd semester. Any students involved in a fight in the 4th quarter will NOT be participating in promotion.

         - Students, if you are having a conflict, don’t take it into your own hands.  Avoid the fight and contact a campus supervisor, counselor, or administrator for help.

         - Parents, please register at ParentSquare  and the PowerSchool Parent Portal to stay on top of all the things going on at Endeavour and in the Lancaster School District.

         - Ravens, keep showing your P.R.I.D.E. everywhere! Politeness, Responsibility, Integrity, Discipline, & Encouragement! Check your grades daily on PowerSchool, keep your GPA and citizenship grades up and earn all the rewards being planned!

As always, I am so proud to be a part of the Endeavour family and am looking forward to another amazing week of discovery and learning!

    Good night!
