Enrichment Opportunities: Boosts and Sports
The After School Boost Program is a tutoring and enrichment program held throughout the school year. Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:05 - 4:05. Most classes are given in three week sessions with one week off between each session, excluding holidays. Academic boost classes are limited to 20 students per class, while enrichment classes are limited to 35 students. For students that normally ride the school bus home, there is an activity bus available for the first 40 registered students.
Students interested in attending a Boost class need to get a Registration Form from their homeroom teacher or from the flyer holder outside the administration office. Forms should be turned into the office no later than the Friday prior to that session’s starting date. Boost classes are filled via first come, first served basis. If a student submits a form for a filled, closed, class, they will either be offered an alternative class or be placed on a waiting list for the selected class. Boost lists are emailed to staff and posted throughout the campus on the first day of class so that students can confirm that they are enrolled in a Boost class.
Please fill out forms clearly and completely to help ensure you student’s enrollment into the class of their choice.
