The Lancaster School District currently has an open seat on its Governing Board in Trustee Area 4 and is inviting interested parties to apply. To be eligible for appointment, candidates must be registered to vote and live within Trustee Area 4. Candidates must also be at least 18 years old, a California citizen, and not legally disqualified from holding civil office (Education Code 35107). The selection and interview process is conducted by the Board in public and the candidate selected for appointment will serve through November 2024. The deadline to apply was August 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.  No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.
