Transportation
Bus services are provided for students in the Lancaster School District by Antelope Valley Schools Transportation Agency.
Bus Eligibility
Students living past the established walk zone but within the school boundaries may ride the bus. Please contact your school office to determine eligibility. Students attending a school other than their home school are not permitted to ride the bus. For Special Education bus services, please contact the Special Education Department at (661) 948-4661.
Bus Routes
Bus schedules are posted at the school sites. Please contact your school office with any questions. Bus routes are a work in progress and may change occasionally. Routes will usually be slower the first few weeks of school as students learn their bus stops and drivers learn their students. Students are asked to be at the bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled departure.
Bus Rules
Bus rules are provided in the school handbook. Students violating bus rules may be restricted from riding the bus. Students utilizing transportation services are under the direction, supervision, and jurisdiction of AV Schools Transportation. Questions or concerns should be directed to AVSTA at (661) 945-3621.
Bus Safety
Our students’ safety is a priority. Please help provide safe loading zones by staying out of the marked bus loading areas.
Bus Passes
Middle school students are required to carry a bus pass issued by the school. Contact your school office for further information.
